ILFC
Ten 01 Fuel Treatment is an engine diesel fuel oil package
containing oil-soluble organometalic compounds of maganese and other materials.
It is designed to be completely soluble in diesel fuel oil and can be
added directly to diesel fuel in storage.
Greater fuel efficiency: In comparitive test, the additive decreased combustible carbon residual 90%. These results are evidence of more complete combustion. Also, the resulting lower carbon residual indicates more BTU's (power) per pound of fuel burned. Thus the effect of ILFC Ten 01 Fuel Treatment has well rounded materials that produce more complete combustion which produces more useful energy, by reducing soot, smoke, and emissions. Other Benefits: Increased combustion efficiency and less maintenance provide the economic justification for ILFC Ten 01 Fuel Treatment. However, the additive produces other benefits as well. ILFC
Ten 01 Fuel Treatment includes a preservative and dispersant
to stabilize fuel in storage. Fuel oil begins to repolymerize as soon
as it is refined. Polymerization forms submicronic particles. As the process
continues, particles become larger and agglomerate, forming macroscopic
sludge which plug filters and injectors, eventually rendering the fuel
non pumpable. ILFC Ten 01 Fuel Treatment disperses
existing macroscopic sludge, retards further polymerization and permits
fuel to be preserved for more efficient combustion. Other materials include
a biocide which effectively eliminates a broad spectrum of micro-organisms
or macroscopic slime that clogs filters and injectors; a corrosion inhibitor
to mitigate internal tank corrosion; a demulsifier to drop out entrained
water; a lubricity enhancer providing lubrication for low sulfur fuels
and a detergent to help keep fuel lines, filters, atomizers, and injectors
clean. |
